The New Zealand cyclist Marc Ryan will ride off for bronze in the individual pursuit at the World Track Cycling Championships in Colombia.

Ryan qualified third fastest and will take on Ryan Mullen in the bronze medal ride.

Ryan was a member of yesterday's bronze medal winning pursuit team.

Shane Archbold was 8th fastest.

Meanwhile Simon van Velthooven won his heat to qualify for the second round of the Keirin, however yesterday's team sprint gold medal winner Eddie Dawkins failed to qualify.
