Waitakere United are back on top of the national football Premiership following a hard-fought 3-0 win over an unlucky Waikato Bay of Plenty United side.
Team Wellington edged Wanderers SC by the odd goal in five to move back into the top four, winning 3-2 in the capital to move back up to fourth place.
With nine points after six rounds, Wellington are a point behind Hawke's Bay United and Auckland City - who remain second despite a two week absence for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Hawke's Bay United beat Canterbury by a solitary goal in Napier.
Waitakere have a three-point lead at the top but Auckland have two games in hand over the rest of the league and Hawke's Bay one.
