The Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Brendon McCullum has been severely reprimanded for showing dissent during an Indian Premier League defeat by Deccan Chargers.
The 27-year-old New Zealand wicketkeeper-batsman lost his temper in the final over of a Twenty20 thriller at the Wanderers as Deccan chased a 161-run target.
McCullum was furious when the first delivery was declared a 'no ball' because Kolkata did not have enough fielders in the circle.
The decision stood and Deccan snatched a six-wicket with a six off the final ball.
McCullum's team has managed just one win in 12 games and he apologised later , saying his reaction was purely emotional as it's not easy being in a team that's lost a lot of tight matches.
