Napier and Christchurch will host two Wellington Phoenix home games in next season's A-League football competition.
The third round match on Sunday October 27th against the Newcastle Jets will be played at McLean Park in Napier while the round five game against Perth Glory will be played at AMI Stadium in Christchurch.
The club's general manager David Dome says the decision to take the games to Napier and Christchurch were for quite different reasons.
He says fans have been asking for a match in Napier on Labour Weekend for some time as it coincides with the national under-19 tournament held there each year.
Dome says previous games in Christchurch have been well supported.
