Wool prices have gained some more ground, as buyers chase the limited supplies available.
New Zealand Wool Services International reports that more than 90 percent of the 15,000 bale offering sold at this week's combined North and South Island sale.
Prices for some North Island wools eased a little, but mid micron fleece was up to 2 percent dearer, and most cross-bred wools gained 2 to 3 percent.
Lambs wool prices in the South Island were 1 to 4 percent firmer.
