The trial of a man charged with killing his brother has started in the High Court in Palmerston North.
David John Bourke, 48, was the subject of a two-day manhunt in southern Hawke's Bay in October last year.
The armed offenders squad was called out after his car was found on State Highway 2 with the body of his brother inside.
