State Highway Six is closed near Winton, in Southland, after two trucks collided.
The incident happened on Centre Bush Road at Limehills, shortly after 10am on Wednesday, when an articulated truck and trailer unit and a bulk spreader crashed.
The road is expected to be closed for some time while a heavy crane is used to clear the scene.
