Police are continuing their search for a man who robbed a New Plymouth Pizza Hutt armed with a machete.
The robbery occurred at about 7am on Friday 23 November at the restaurant on Tukapa Street.
Police said the man threatened a staff member before stealing cash.
A second staff member was cut on the hand by the machete while trying to prevent the man from leaving.
The man then got into a blue Nissan Maxima sedan which sped off.
The driver of the Nissan has been arrested and will appear before the court in February next year.
