A body has been found by a fisherman in Auckland's Manukau Harbour, police say.

Police said they were told about the body, which was found in Wattle Bay, just after 5pm.
They said they would not be able to confirm tonight whether the body was that of a 52-year-old fisherman who went missing six days ago.
Officers were still on their way to the bay.
