Name suppression has lapsed for a Wellington lawyer accused of drug offending.
Keith Ian Jeffries, 65, is facing four charges including possession of LSD and methamphetamine, and possession of a pipe and instruments for smoking methamphetamine.
At an appearance in the Wellington District Court in August he sought interim name suppression but a judge refused it.
The district court and the High Court have both declined interim name suppression and Mr Jeffries had until 4pm today to seek a further appeal hearing in the Court of Appeal. However, he did not do so.
He will reappear in the Wellington District Court later this month.
