Two men are dead after crashes in the North Island on Monday, one at Taupo and the other at Feilding.
In the Taupo crash, a Hawke's Bay man died after crashing a Ferrari at the Taupo Motorsport Park.
The man was driving a Ferarri 360 Spider when it hit a wall of tyres. His passenger was not hurt.
The police serious crash investigation unit is investigating.
Further south, a man died after a crash on State Highway 54 at Feilding after his car left the road and ended up in a culvert.
Emergency services administered first aid to the man, who was the sole occupant of the car, but he died at the scene, police said.
