警方表示，在寻找失踪的怀卡托男子Nan Liu的同时，警方在新普利茅斯发现了一具尸体。
根据一名公众提供的信息，尸体于周一下午3点半左右被发现。
警方表示，虽然身份尚未正式确认，但据信尸体就是失踪的这名46岁的汉密尔顿男子。
警方在一份声明中表示："警方在此艰难时刻向他的家人表示慰问。我们正在为他们提供支持。"

警方表示，此事将提交验尸官处理。
