Episode 223 features a repeat of an interview conducted with musician, audio engineer and producer, Steve Garden who in 1990 was one of the founders of the Auckland based record label: Rattle Records. The Rattle catalogue includes an extensive mix of jazz, acoustic fusion, improvised music, Te Reo and classical albums all from Aotearoa that is unapologetically art focused and culturally significant. This year Rattle Records are celebrating their 30th anniversary – a significant milestone in these challenging times. Steve Garden’s dedication and skills to the music he records and releases have seen him described as one of this country’s ‘unsung heroes’
