Together they embarked on recording songs for a solo album … including a wonderful version of the song Angelitos Negros which we also include in this program She recently played shows in Auckland and Wellington,. The interview with Flor De Toloache, recorded at Womad 2020 succinctly demonstrates the motivation in their own belief, as well as overcoming the difficulties in being the only all-female Mariachi band in a male dominated industry and in the process becoming Grammy Award winning ambassadors of Mexican Mariachi music.
