Episode 191 features  an interview with Chinese Musician Wu Man recorded in march 2013  at  the Radio NZ Auckland studios. Wu Man is an extraordinary virtuoso of the Pipa, a four stringed Chinese lute that dates back two thousand years and echoes ancient Chinese musical traditions. As The Boston Globe once wrote:  “Wu Man is one of the rare musicians who has changed the history of the instrument she plays – the Pipa”
