Episode 170 features an interview with sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe from Atlanta, who draw their creative inspiration from a repertoire of heritage blues artists which equally informs their own gritty originals. They have been performing and touring since their teens, regularly playing bars and clubs before graduating to playing stadiums with Bob Seger and Keith Urban. On their last tour here in Aotearoa they wrote on Facebook that they loved this place and would be back. True to their word Larkin Poe are playing Auckland and Christchurch on April 18 and 19 2020..
