Episode 133 features a live session and interview with Moana Maniapoto after it was announced that Moana And The Moahunters’ debut album ‘Tahi’ is the recipient of the 2019 Taite Classic Record award - an award that acknowledges NZ’s rich history of making albums that continue to musically define who we are. Dylan Taite was a well-known music journalist who passed away in 2003 and bequeathed this annual legacy recognizing Independently released music in New Zealand. The album ‘Tahi’ was released in 1993 on Murray Cammick’s Southside label. Moana is touring the country in May 2019.
