Episode 107 includes a brief eulogy to the recently departed blues guitarist Otis Rush who’s contribution to the genre was considerable – also featured is a brief interview with singer and musician Sean Kelly born in Derry, Ireland, and now living in the Coromandel. Sean has researched and re arranged a traditional 400 year old Scottish song called The Bonnie wee lass of Fyfie-O. He re arranged the song giving it an Irish viewpoint being about a British soldier, back in 17th century Ireland and stationed in the garrison town of Derry who, whilst on a march beyond the Derry walls fell in love with An Irish colleen, called Peggy-O. It makes for an articulate and  interesting example of how this song has travelled.
