Episode 93 features music from as far north as Lapland and as far south as Elcho Island in Northern Australia, the birth place of the late indigenous musician Gurrumul.  There is a new movie called Gurrumul about to open at this year’s NZIFF festival. Also in this program is an interview recorded at Womad 2014 with Femi Kuti, the eldest son of Afro-beat pioneer Fela Kuti, one of Nigeria’s most celebrated musicians
