Today on The Panel, Wallace Chapman and panellists Sarah Sparks and Simon Wilson speak to somone who spent time in a state youth facility.
He spoke to the panellists about how he was in isolation for a month and a half at one point in the facility. He gave his thoughts on Labour's new policies about youth crime and what he would say to the head of Oranga Tamariki.
He is now a youth support worker and youth advocate.
