Government ministers are being taken to court over the way family carers are treated in Aoteaora. Laurie Hilsgen from Carers NZ tells The Panel that this case is a "symptom" of a much wider issue and carers continue to be undervalued in our society. In what's being called a "megatrend" - fewer Kiwi teens are binge-drinking, smoking or doing drugs. Otago University public health researcher Dr Jude Ball plans to look into this trend to find out the reasons behind it.
