Oranga Tamariki chief executive Grainne Moss has admitted to the Waitangi Tribunal inquiry that there is structural racism in the agency's systems which have led to poor outcomes for Māori tamariki taken from their whānau. Melanie Reid from Newsroom has been following proceedings and speaks to The Panel. Finance Minister Grant Robertson has suggested the Reserve Bank of NZ consider the effect its monetary policy measures has on the housing market. The Panel speaks to economist Michael Reddell who previously worked at The Reserve Bank.
