Most kiwis with 'non-ethical' investments want to switch

More than $4 billion remains invested in companies and sectors deemed unethical, despite three quarters of New Zealanders assuming their KiwiSaver and other managed funds are being invested responsibly.

That's according to a study undertaken for charity Mindful Money and the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA), which surveyed 1000 New Zealanders on the topic of ethical investing. 

Barry Coates, founder and CEO of the charity Mindful Money, joined The Panel to talk about ethical investing.
