Effects of racism in NZ healthcare system in spotlight

From The Panel, 4:06 pm on 4 September 2020

Two studies have documented the effects of inequity and racism in our healthcare system.

That includes a systematic research review from the University of Otago, which says the evidence is clear that experience of racism is a determinant of health that has a negative impact across a broad range of health outcomes in New Zealand.

Dr Donna Cormack (Kati Mamoe, Kai Tahu) - Te Kupenga Hauora Maori at the University of Auckland - joins The Panel to discuss.
