Topics - The High Court has ruled the Government acted unlawfully in telling New Zealanders they had to stay at home for the first nine days of the Level 4 lockdown. RNZ reporter Jonathan Mitchell joins The Panel to explain the ruling, and Professor of Law Alexander Gillespie follows with some analysis. Some Auckland principals feel blindsided and undermined by the Government's surprise decision to let some Year 12 and 13 students return to class. Dr Bronwyn Wood from Victoria University explains why it could be good for students to return, provided the right safety measures in place. Auckland council is reviewing colonial-era monuments to help decide whether they should be taken down. Historian Paul Moon joins The Panel to discuss whether this is a good idea.
