It's been a busy day at the Waitangi treaty grounds, with the opening ceremony for the new Waitangi Museum this morning which was attended by more than a thousand people. And this afternoon the Prime Minister was to meet with the country's major iwi leaders today for the Iwi Chairs Forum, where a variety of subects, including Maori water rights adn Oranga Tamariki were expected to be discussed. There have been two suspected Legionnaires disease deaths in the southern region in recent months, and a spate of other cases of the ailment have prompted a new public health campaign by the Southern District Health Board. David Murdoch from the University of Otago discusses his research with The Panel. President Trump has delivered his State of the Union speech in Washington this evening.
