Report outlines harrowing Oranga Tamariki uplifts

A report on Oranga Tamariki has revealed some harrowing stories on the removal of Maori babies. In one case, 14 armed policed were involved an uplift of a 5-month old baby from a single mother.

Anton Blank is a child advocate and publisher at Ora Nui A New Zealand's Māori literary journal. He andhas written and researched the issue of unconscious bias for some years now, and discusses the issue with The Panel.
