Over the weekend, around 14 people brought their own chairs for a two-hour "sit in" on the footpath outside a bakery and a cafe on Govett Ave in Frankleigh, where the council had ordered the removal of tables and chairs. The council's actions come after it received two complaints in the last year, from people with disabilities who had trouble accssing the footpath.
