Telecommunications company Vodafone is giving some of its workers the opportunity to knock off early on Fridays. The 'Summer Hours' programme runs until the end of February - and will let more than 2000 staff members finish from 2pm on Fridays, so they can start the weekend early and enjoy the summer weather. Vodafone's Katie William said it's about making sure employees have the best work-home balance, and the company has been applauded for the move - with one organisational psychologist saying it will have a big impact on morale.
