Dental Assoc hits out at Coca-Cola using te reo Māori

From The Panel, 4:40 pm on 14 November 2019

The 'Share a Coke' campaign has been going for some years - its been rolled out in over 80 countries.

It rebrands the traditional Coke logo, replacing "Coca-Cola" from one side of a bottle with the phrase "Share a Coke with" followed by a person's name.

Now the New Zealand Dental Association has lashed out at the company giant for targeting Māori on soft drink labels calling it "unethical and completely irresponsible."
