The Panel with David Cormack and Michelle Boag (Part 1)

From The Panel, 4:03 pm on 13 November 2019

Today the fight against the devastating bushfires in Australia has shifted from New South Wales to Queensland. But in Canberra the heat between politicians continues to rise. Prime Minister Scott Morrison is urging calm, as the blame game over the disastrous blazes escalates. The Tomorrow's Schools changes announced yesterday are said to be the biggest in 30 years. The key point for many is around zones. A new Education Support Agency wil take over zoning and enrolment schemes from the boards of individual schools under a new plan. Lynda Stuart from NZ Education Institue joins the discussion. In other Educational news, the National party is looking to redirect billions of dollars from the Government's frees free scheme to set up a Kiwisaver type account for every young New Zealander to be spent on education or professional development.
