What was your first part-time job as a school kid/teenager like? Police have announced they're going to introduce Armed Response Teams in Waikato, Auckland and Canterbury as a part of trial. The idea is to cut down on repsonse time to serious incidents involving firearms the police say, and that the decision was prompted by the Christchurch mosque attack. Popularity surge in plant based proteins reported by large supermarket chain. Restrictions around whether teachers can hug or touch students may soon be relaxed. Currently teachers can't physically restrain students unless they're a danger to others. But teachers and principals are proposing changes - because they feel some are fearful they can't touch children at all.
