Sadfishing is all bad

Have you ever seen this on Facebook, someone posting "worst day, don't ask" or something along those lines? Or a paragraph about their feelings? It's called Sadfishing - an attempt to attract sympathy or get attention. And while the practice is under fire by some, one writer from the guardian says we shouldn't people opening up.
