We ask Waikato Law Professor Al Gillespie. Irish writer, Ewan McKenna has stirred the pot with his call for a ban on the All Blacks' haka at each match, saying it gives them an edge over their opponents and is merely an ego trip for the New Zealand side. He copped quite a bit of flack for the comment. The panellists weigh in on the call. The flight shaming movement that started in Sweden and has grown quite fast in parts of the world, but it's seems unlikely to take off in New Zealand - mainly because it's hard to get anywhere without flying. We ask the panellists whether they'd giev up flying for the sake of the planet. Many of our cities are unaffordable, particularly when it comes to housing. An underlying trend, an opinion for Stuff argues, is our continued love affair with single dwelling housing. Ditching the classic dream of a big homes with a big bakcyard, writer Geoff Cooper says, would breath life into our cities. We discuss the idea with Univeristy of Auckland Architecture lecturer Bill McKay. A fierce debate over dirty laundry is heating up in Hobsonville Point in Auckland. Some residents are furious about washing being hung out to dry on lines rigged up outside homes. And apparently it is against the rules of The Hobsonville Point Residents Society.
