Yesterday economist Peter Fraser spoke to the panel about his belief that technology may not be the silver bullet farmers hope it is in terms of lowering New Zealand's emissions. Today Federated Farmers' mid-Canterbury spokesperson David Clark joins us with his thoughts on the issue. Fires are currently ravaging the Amazon rainforest - one of the most important parts of the planet, in terms of its remarkable biodiversity and the huge amount of oxygen the trees there produce. Language is an important way for migrants to New Zealand to maintain ties to their original culture. Dr Naashia Mohamed from the University of Auckland joins us to discuss her research into this area.
