Little trust for the gun lobby

From The Panel, 4:48 pm on 9 August 2019

Let's continue with this study by Victoria University, which also looked into gun ownership in New Zealand.

In total 15 percent of the 1000 people surveyed owned a gun or lived in a household with someone who owned one. It found that gun owners trust the Government more than the gun lobby - even after the mosque attacks brought attention to firearms in the country.

Dr Simon Chapple, director of the Institute for Governance and Policy Studies at Victoria Business School, explains the findings.
