From The Panel, 4:03 pm on 30 July 2019

Former New Zealander of the Year Dr Lance O'Sullivan has announced a plan to launch 200 drive-through mobile medical clinics. He hopes to have the clinics throughout the country by 2020. The first will be rolled out in Rotorua and Kaitaia by the end of the year. The Victory Community Centre in Nelson provides low-cost medical care and manager Rebecca Greig thinks mobile clinics are a great idea. The Panelists thoughts on the latest TVNZ Colmar Brunton Poll. The National Party remains above Labour in the party vote on 45 per cent, Labour up a point to 43 per cent and NZ First has dropped 2 points to 3 per cent. A fear of maths is real and so is the attitude that it's ok to be no good at maths. Dr Rhys Jones of the University of Auckland is unimpressed that some people wear not-being-any-good-at-maths as a badge of honour. He says that people should see maths and statistics as a set of languages essential to live.
