Police breathalyzing in homes

From The Panel, 4:10 pm on 19 July 2019

A Dunedin barrister says Police are over-stepping the mark by entering people's houses to breathalyze them.Marie Taylor-Cyphers says some of the Police evidential paperwork even says the tests were conducted on the roadside, when they weren't. It seems that Police believe they have the right to enter private property, gain entry to homes and then carry out breath tests. Human Rights and Privacy lawyer Michael Bott says the law is clear - Police aren't allowed to do this.
