NZers knowledge of Asia has grown

New research from the Asia New Zealand Foundation has found increased travel, entertainment and personal connections means New Zealanders understand the region better than ever before. It's a self assesment but seems to show a clear change in our perception of Asia. In 2013 30 per cent of New Zealanders said they knew at least a fair amount about Asia. Now it's almost half. Simon Draper of the Asia New Zealand Foundation explains how this increase in knowledge has come about and what it indicates.
