NZ Rugby selection: do they need to install a moral compass?

New Zealand Rugby has a list of socially oriented "character assessment values" when it comes to selecting players. Things like work ethic, competitiveness, resilience, coachability, and motivation in rugby. A study by the University of Otago says overseas academics also recommend focusing on values such as compassion, fairness, and integrity. The study's co-author Tania Cassidy discusses what we should expect from players off the field.
