Renters are less likely to be happy with their housing than those who own their homes, Stats NZ has found. It's part of the broader General Social Survey 2018 where Kiwis were asked a range of wellbeing questions, about their satisfaction with their homes, how affordable it is and if they have issues with dampness and mould. Renters United spokesperson Kate Day explains why. What would you change in the home you're renting, if you could? The Autombile Association has released a survey saying more than half of Auckland oppose new cycle lanes. However the survey has had a bit of backlash as it was only 700 AA members, with 43 per cent aged 55 or more. It looked at how motorists feel about bus lanes and cycle lanes, with more members opposed to the cycle lanes. Jolisa Gracewood from Bike Auckland gives her reaction to the survey. Speaking of begging for money on GoFundMe, there's a new trend in travelling involving the site. The website - which facilitates charitable donations to the needy - is being used by the not-so-needy to pay for holidays and travel aboard. "Beg travellers" get someone else to pay for their trips.
