The Panel with Russell Brown and Alexia Russell (Part 2)

From The Panel, 4:05 pm on 25 June 2019

The big screen Batman turns 30 and so its a good time to celebrate some of those Batpeople that have come and gone ever since Gotham City's favourite son graced the big screen in Tim Burtons noir version of Batman. We ask the panellists who their favourite on screen Batman was. What is your favourite superhero film? Why? Yesterday we talked about what kids are wearing to their school ball, but today let's talk about the ball again, this time about who gets to go. There have been posts on twitter from concerned parents and those in the community about some schools not allowing students to go until any outstanding fees or donations are paid up. We get clarification from the Ministry of Education about whether this is allowed. The Prime Minsiter has said there will be a Government building programme next year but she can't guarantee that Kiwibuild will be a part of it. This was a core policy of Labours but the policy has fallen woefully short of its target. We ask what the panellists make of this statement. A person has died while riding a Lime e-scooter in Auckland last night. Lime Scooters confirmed they have been in contact with police and the 59-year-old victim's family. The panellists discuss what this means for the electronic vehicle.
