Fancy voting for your favourite candidate while picking up some bananas from the supermarket Justice Minister Andrew Little yesteday announced that Government would introduce legislation allowing people to enrol on the same day, and the propsosed law change would also allow ballot boxes in supermarkets. We ask electoral law Professor Andrew Geddis if the changes will advantage the coalition. The Government gun buyback scheme started yesterday, and runs for 6 months. The scheme has been boosted to 208 million dollars and will see gun owners compensation based on the type of gun and its condition. But gun owners aren't happy. Miles Anderson from Federated Farmers explains why there is concern. Aussies can now spy on their neighbours to see if they're helping to save the planet or not. See-through wheelie bins are being trialled in Adelaide to shame those people who don't recycle properly. Will it work?
