Premium hikes are on the way for Wellington residents - and many of them will struggle to afford their homes or apartments anymore. The insurance council says it's necessary otherwise no one will build on seismic land. Geraldine Murphy from Inner City Wellington joins the Panel to discuss what this meas for home and apartment owners. Hearings on pokies in Porirua take place tomorrow at Te Rauparaha Arena Porirua were community members will be airing their concerns about pokies in their area. They will be calling for stonger action on pokies as the City Council concludes consulation on its proposed class 4 gambling policy. We talk about the issues with Porirua-based filmmaker, Tony Sutorius, who will be speaking at the hearing. It's men's health week. The time of year when we remind men to open up and be proactive about their health. The big problems for men are heart disease and diabetes and they are three times more likely to die in car crashes and from suicide than women. We talk to racecar driver and men's health week ambassador Greg Murphy.
