Waiheke residents sick of ferry issues

Residents of Auckland's Waiheke Island are getting increasingly peeved at long queues for the ferry and the chances of not being able to board at all. Ferry operator, Fuller Ferries, say the services are reliable 99 per cent of the time and that staff are being abused. Waiheke services aren't the only ones seen as sub-standard, complaints have been made about the Devonport and Hobsonville services, as well. Cath Handley of the Waiheke Local Board says it's not good enough.
