A new 1800 page report out paints a dire picture of the global state of biodiversity. The UN assessment that nature is declining at rates unprecedented in human history, as many as one million plant and animal species are at risk of extinction. Associate Professor James Russell explains what transformational change the world needs to combat the issue.
