The Panel with Anton Matthews and Cas Carter (Part 2)

From The Panel, 4:05 pm on 5 April 2019

Where in the world have you been that suffers from "overtourism"? We have discussed e-scooters a lot on the radio - but less so the impact on some members of the community who use the footpaths. A recent survey of 200 people by the Blind Foundation found that going out for a walk was becoming increasingly dangerous due to e-scooters. The panelists discuss. Ever had a faulty appliance, and couldnit get a refund? Ever employed a certain service only to find that it was not up to scratch? Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Auckland, Alex Sims, says people are in the dark about dodgy businesses because the findings into them aren't released. She explains why that's a problem. Actor Sam Neill, former Christchurch local, has written an opinion piece in Stuff today saying the Cathedral must go. The fate of the Christchruch Cathedral has been debated continously since 2011, when it was left in ruins following the quakes. We ask the panelists if they agree with his argument.
