Life with chronic pain

There are calls for New Zealand to have a national pain strategy. A report for the Faculty of Pain Medicine in the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists says we have just 22 full-time chronic pain specialists and that the country needs 4-times that number. Author Stephanie de Montalk has lived with chronic pain for years and wrote a book about it, How Does it Hurt? She shares her experience and what she believes needs to be done for those who are suffering.
