Where in NZ would you love to move to and why? South Island towns are trying to lure Aucklanders away from traffic congestion, parking woes and high house prices. A marketing campaign is inviting Aucklanders to Geraldine, Pleasant Point and Temuka. And Timaru where the median house price is $350,000. Ultrasonic pest control issues a high-pitched sound that's meant to deter birds and pests.Not only are there unknown health consequences for children, there are civil liberties worries as these devices are used to drive teenagers away from some areas. Human Rights lawyer Michael Bott explains how the devices infringe on human rights. He also answers the question "what rights to privacy do children have?" A couple in New Plymouth had an abusive note slapped on their car which was parked in a mobility car park. Catherine Campbell is in renal failure, and undergoes dialysis on a regular basis.She doesn't use a wheelchair or have a walking stick, but she still has the right to a mobility parking permit. Mrs Campbell wants the policing of mobility parks to be left to security. The companies office says the brand 'Happy To Sit On Your Face' sunglasses is offensive. The Christchurch-based owner of the brand says she'll keep the name despite not being able to register it. It looks like sharing burned CDs with your mates is a thing of the past. About half of the 1000 people who took part in a study into pirating had ripped-off TV and film content at some point in the past, but only about 10 per cent of those who took part in the research still pirate today. It seems to prove the point that people are more than willing to pay if what they want is available.
