RNZ reporter Ben Strang reports on the latest on multiple fires in the Nelson region. He tells us a fire that broke out this afternoon at Walter's Bluff near Nelson city has been brought under control. Hair and facial hair - the flashpoint for high school kids. Brody Hide of Te Puke High school wants to keep his beard that he grew over summer. The school says grab a razor. Is having having a beard or the hairstyle of your choice a human right. Or does Brody need to suck it up and grow as much hair as he likes once he leaves school? Several centres around the country are accepting refugees over the next few years. The refugee quota increased from 750 to 1000 last July, and will again rise again to 1500 in July 2020. There's been an observation that both of our international cricket teams - the White Ferns and the Black Caps - swapped "New Zealand" for "Aotearoa" on the front of their shirts for Waitangi Day. Can a beautiful water colour, stand on its own terms if it was painted by a person responsible for acts of utter evil ?
